I am a PhD candidate in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Coimbra. I hold Master's degrees in Work and Organizational Psychology (2021) and Educational Sciences (2014), both from the same institution. Currently, I am an invited assistant teacher at Instituto Superior Miguel Torga in Coimbra.My research focuses on the role of emotions in the workplace, including emotional labor and its demands, emotional regulation, work engagement, and professional identity. I am particularly interested in how these factors influence organizational behavior and impact work-life quality, well-being, and stress.I contribute to the EmoWork-Police/Firefighters/Teachers research group at the University of Coimbra. Additionally, I am a collaborative member of the Centre for Research in Cognitive and Behavioral Intervention (CINEICC) at the University of Coimbra and the OSEAN research center at the University of Madeira. I am also involved in organizing the I International Congress on Quality of Life in Police (QoliPOL).
