As a Research Affiliate I, I have determined relevant questions and best methods of collection in close collaboration with the leadership team. I have evaluated and optimized research processes, achieving tight deadlines for multiple projects. I have provided scientific writing support for publication and presentation at regional, local, and departmental conferences/seminars. I have coached and guided high school students, undergraduates, master students, high school science teachers, PhD students, visiting professors, and postdocs on experimental design and implementation, data analysis and presentation, confocal microscopy, wide-field fluorescence microscopy, live-cell imaging, and quantitative image analysis. I have designed and executed experiments and data evaluation by leveraging ANOVA, Pearson's chi-squared test, Tukey HSD post-hoc, Student's t-test, and Manders' correlation coefficient analysis. I have implemented cell biology/biochemistry techniques, including isolation and sequencing of nuclear DNA, western blot analysis, fluorescent in situ hybridization, cloning, genetic screening, gene engineering, and histochemistry.My Key Accomplishments• Conducted statistical analysis of 2K+ images and validated preliminary work, such as novel interaction between endogenous retrotransposons/host machinery governing cell division and distribution of DNA to confer phenotypic plasticity in dividing cells.• Built and managed assays, determining the corresponding expression of cellular and retrotransposon proteins and interactions.• Instructed and guided undergraduate students on imaging cells and experimental data assessment.

In my former role as an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Science, I designed and launched curriculum, including learning modalities and support materials with a focus on improving learning processes and accentuating presentations. I have promoted student-centered learning by analyzing and updating lesson plans and course content.
