S S Jeevan has been in journalism and the development sector from 1996—India Today, Hindustan Times, Down to Earth and the Indian Express. He has also worked in top international organisations such as Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), New Delhi and Swedish-based Hand in Hand. With over 23 years of experience of working in top organizations, Jeevan's specialization has been on research, reporting, writing, editing, re-writing, synthesizing and communication skills. After graduating in English from St Stephen’s College, Delhi, Jeevan studied journalism at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi. Apart from handling various kinds of editorial and production responsibilities, Jeevan has written on a range of topics, but more on the environment, health, social and human interest stories. He has also co-authored three books.Jeevan did his schooling from St Xavier's School, Delhi, and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, New Delhi. He is now based in Chennai, India.
