Hi, I'm Seth. I am an ethical hacker, CTF-player, bug bounty hunter, and web application developer.Prior to embarking on a career as a professional hacker, I was a Reliability Leader at Honeywell, a NASA Pathways Fellow, a Power Systems Engineer with GE, and an Electronics Technician (ET) in the US Navy, with advanced technical training in Information Systems Maintenance (computer and network troubleshooting).My journey into offensive cybersecurity began when I started developing my own websites. I created and currently maintain several websites; some are monetized and others are just for fun. While working on these projects, I found that I needed to acquire some IT skills as well as web development chops in order to manage them effectively. DNS, SSL, and server issues just aren't any fun if you don't know what you're doing!While researching topics in IT, at some point I was introduced to CTFs and, like many others, I was hooked. In my spare time, I began learning how to attack and defend my websites, servers, and home network. After about a year of dipping my toes into the offensive cybersecurity industry, I decided to jump in. Throughout 2023 I earned several certifications in offensive security, including eJPTv2, ICCA, LinuxAD, and PNPT in late November. I am currently ranked in the top 1% on the TryHackMe platform and am working toward the CPTS certification from HackTheBox.
