Current- Reviews, assesses, and co-ordinates assigned rezoning, development permit, subdivision, strata title, and Land Commission Act appeal applications
- Interprets development plans, maintains development statistics and conducts site visits and evaluations
- Responds to counter enquiries and provides information regarding various departmental policies and procedures
- Identifies compliance and non-compliance aspects of an application compared to regulations, policies, bylaws and legislation
- Co-ordinates information on development proposals from other City Departments, Utility Companies, Provincial Ministries, neighbourhood representatives and members of the public
- Prepares reports and presents to advisory committees and City Council with respect to development applications, procedural amendments and policy review
