I love working with teams. I hate selling myself. So here are five things about me and my work you need to know:1) I’m a passionate leader. I have led pre-press departments of up to 20 people (currently manage a department of 5) and for over 20 years I’ve been a leader for Scouts Canada where I’ve mentored hundreds of Canadian youth with positions including Group Leader, Adviser, Group Commissioner, Trainer, Program Activity Lead and more.2) I’m a pre-press specialist with over 30 years of journeyman experience. 3) I’m also an outdoor enthusiast and a pioneer of outdoor adventure programs for kids including kayaking and camping wilderness programs through Scouts Canada. For the past 10 years I have organized and run one of the groups where I am responsible for recruitment and retention, motivation, logistics, problem solving, bookings, coordination between the sections, fundraising and making sure a fun and safe program was offered to the youth.4) Training and helping people develop is an obsession. As a Level III Trainer I have been able to help new Leaders/Advisors develop their own leadership and outdoor skills.5) This is how I sum up my job: I make sure you are completely satisfied with your print project. A thorough prepress analysis and press check can mean the difference between a successful print job and a disappointing one, it’s my department’s responsibility to ensure we are successful – always.
