Role with overall responsibility for all projects within this business support charity;Key policy reviewer and writer for the organisation, working on a re-evaluation of policies and procedures, to allow for cross regional expansion whilst maintaining a high standard of service;Researching a number of new funding and activity streams, as well as sourcing new opportunities for clients - once identified, responsible for turning these ideas into projects with set delivery targets, evaluation checkpoints and progress reports and overall management of these projects;Required to network with other organisations to increase collaborative and business opportunities –including managing an international partnership with stakeholders in Germany and France;Required to have in-depth knowledge and understanding of ESF/ERDF regulatory procedures to ensure all work undertaken complies with current funding regulations;In-house ICT support - working with external contractors to create a multi-location data handling system and supporting structures including open-source CRM systems to improve the organisation’s evaluating and tracking capability;Responsible for some 1-2-1 business support and mentoring putting together training sessions and workshops, including sourcing speakers, recruitment and marketing;Line management of three staff (and interns), including appraisals and performance monitoring;Working with CEO on financial management of the charity

Responsible for development and running of a major new department within the organisation, including design and implementation of departmental procedures to improve operating efficiency. Managed a team of 25 staff comprised of employees, volunteers and interns. Successfully delivered 3 ESF/ERDF funded projects with combined value of over £1m. Responsible for establishing new networks and working partnerships with support organisations.
