As a cofounder, I was with the organization from 1997 to 2011. I returned to the company in 2022 after 11 years of focusing on being a high school teacher teaching theater production and media literacy. It has been amazing to be brought back to develop programs in the legendary T-Building in Jamaica, Queens and the Arverne View 11-building complex in Far Rockaway. My role has since expanded to reimagining the entire Space To Connect Program as a teaching artist incubator, which includes our partnership with Fordham Bedford Community Services in The Bronx.
