Educated volunteers on backyard and industrial composting and encouraged them to educate others in turn.

The NOAA-CESSRST Fellowship program allows college students interested in STEM to participate in a research team to gain experience in the field of research, gain new skills in leadership, communication, and coordination, and learn various programs such as Excel, Python, and ArcGIS. I conducted research on various topics such as the correlation between gas leaks and gentrification, the impact of socioeconomic factors on flooding impact, and understanding the history of weather extremes in NYC. Recently I took on a leadership role in mentoring high school interns on conducting research.
