Passionate about understanding consumers, their context and how it impacts their decision making. I enjoy taking consumer insights to brand level decision making. Over the last few (pre-pandemic) years I have volunteered to travel across small town India to get first hand input on how different segments of consumers interact with brands and products. My current role has given me the opportunity to work across different industry categories like FMCG ; Media - traditional TV, OTT, Print ; Telecom ; Beauty & Fashion and BFSI. Interesting exposure to more recent research techniques like neuro-marketing and eye tracking.Co-authored a research paper in 2020 on "Brand Communication in the Post COVID Era : The New Communication Playbook" that was accepted and posted in their journal by World Advertising Research Centre - an organization that provides the latest advertising data from 80 global markets.At LSE I wrote a dissertation titled "Green is the new Black : Role of the costly signaling theory in pro-environment consumer behavior", written with the aim to stimulate research into factors encouraging pro-green behavior in the marketplace.
