Hello! I am Saachi, which means "the truth" in Sanskrit, and I aim to continue living my life that way. I'm a Humanities student who is always on her toes to learn and adapt to new things and expand my knowledge. My goal in life is to be ever-evolving and content with my achievements and decisions. Being an ambivert, I not only enjoy being by myself in a reading nook but can also socialise quite well. I like to broaden my outlook on life by looking up the topics that I find interesting. I also like to brainstorm new ideas and take initiative in introducing activities. A student of English Literature (major) and Media Studies (minor), I am an avid reader and a language enthusiast. I enjoy public speaking as well as organising and participating in events. I have also been learning Japanese for around four years along with knowing Marathi, Hindi, English and Sanskrit. My hobbies revolve around these three fields:1. Reading and occasionally writing- creative as well as academics.2. Learning about new languages and other cultures.3. Critiquing various aspects of pop culture.For me, "learning a language is not just about knowing semantics or rules, but it is an all-encompassing umbrella of culture and society." I aspire to transform people's outlook toward languages, especially around the scope of English. I believe that it is a very misunderstood language, and it is not taught as it should be. I want to teach it in a way that people actually know its rules, methods and how to use it. I am also an appreciator of art and culture. I cherish and try to gain knowledge about different countries' traditions and cultural aspects, as they are very similar but also different from my own. I have been learning Bharatnatyam, one of the Indian classical dance styles, for 12 years and have learned several important facts regarding the same.
