I am a Software Tester with experience in the latest testing technologies including Postman, Rest API, Mongo, and Postman. I also have knowledge of testing applications through AWS as well as continuous integration and deployment. Interested in joining an Agile team where I can showcase my skills.After graduating with a second class degree in civil engineering, I wanted to pursue a career in technology as this is where my passion originally lay. I joined FDM Group to become a software tester trainee to hone my skills and eventually become a consultant. Since then I have been working at Companies House as the tester for my respective team.My role at Companies House as a Software Tester include testing the backend framework for converting PERL to Java. This is done through manual and automation testing in which APIs are triggered through a certain type of request. My responsibilities include checking for bugs in the development code and asserting that new functions work properly following an acceptance criteria. I am also frequently tasked with conversing with different colleagues outside of my respective team if certain information is required for testing to be complete - this may be with the lead tester or data service teams. Lastly, I also deliver presentations on work conducted during company retrospectives for investorsIn my free time, I enjoy reading about emerging tech such as web3 and blockchain.
