As a Technical Officer - Digital Support at CARE Bangladesh under the SHOUHARDO III Plus Activity, my primary responsibility is to support Local Service Providers (LSPs) in building digital capacity to enhance their business operations. This includes providing technical assistance, facilitating business networks, coordinating with field staff and technical teams, and maintaining relationships with public and private sector stakeholders. I also document best practices, prepare reports, and ensure that LSPs are empowered to sustain and grow their businesses through digital solutions and effective partnerships.Key Responsibilities:1. Capacity Building for Sustainable Business Growth (35%)- Provide technical support (virtual and in-person) for LSPs to operate digital devices.- Troubleshoot technical and business issues encountered by LSPs.- Help LSPs maintain relationships within the Business Network and coach them in building customer relationships and negotiating with suppliers and buyers.2. Supporting Business Networks (25%)- Assist the Business Network Leader (BNL) in planning and executing regular meetings.- Provide support to other LSPs on using devices and engaging with public and private sector representatives.- Support LSPs in establishing and linking to new business networks.3. Coordination with Field Facilitators (FFs) and Technical Teams (20%)- Assist FFs identify LSP needs and resolve them through field visits.- Facilitate communication among staff, government officials, and private sectors.- Participate in meetings and workshops to gather feedback and help address challenges.4. Record Keeping & Reporting (15%)- Work with the knowledge management and M&E teams to document best practices.- Prepare regular reports and maintain effective networking.5. Ad-hoc Tasks (10%)- Handle additional information requests or tasks as needed

Kuza Biashara is an organization offering small business learning, training and empowerment in Africa. The organization is based in Nairobi, Kenya. In July 2015 Kuza Biashara partnered with The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation (TCCAF) in an arrangement dubbed The YES Initiative to train 25,000 youths on best practices of entrepreneurship and self-improvement. A pilot project was rolled out in Kibra Slums of Nairobi County the same year.Since 2012 Kuza Biashara has been part of the Kenya Top 100 initiative which is sponsored by Nation Media Group and KPMG East Africa among others.The organization operates under the mantra of Learn, Connect and Grow.Responsibilities -A. Engage agripreneurs to help them access mentorship & training support to improve their knowledge and skills in agribusiness. B. Conduct group training sessions for agripreneurs on agronomy or business skills. C. Coordinate with the agripreneurs & other stakeholders to aggregate inputs/ output demand, linkage to service providers, and extension services to farmers. D. Guide, monitor & mentor the agripreneurs through their entrepreneurial journey (goals, record keeping, farmer training, and business growth & performance) E. Gather feedback from Agripreneurs and document the same by compiling periodic reports.

• Identify information needs that relates with project implementation and performance • Develop tools and formats to capture data as needed to reflect project performance against plan • Orient and guide field workers to provide information using the given formats and as per defined process • Undertake field visits to collect information as needed and also to assess quality of data provided by the field workers • Develop system to ensure preservation and retrieval of project related information in a systematic manner • Maintain data in electronic form to be able to share as and when requested • Perform data analysis and prepare need-based reports for meetings and periodic circulation. • Perform any other duty as assigned
