I started as a summer research intern at POLYGAIT, and was given the opportunity to become one of the organizations project leads. I've been given the privilege of coordinating multidisciplinary teams from birth to implementation, spanning programs that introduced RFID technology to cattle tracking, outdoor inventory, and food traceability in produce markets.I was able to expand POLYGAIT’s ability to conduct operations with UAV’s by obtaining a Part 107 sUAS license, allowing me to fly UAVs for the organization. With that license, I was able to mentor student teams on setting up and operating complex equipment such as UAVs with industrial RFID readers.0I created networks for commercial drones to fly and record data with, allowing ground teams to automate flight paths and data collection.

Cofounder and software lead at OdinXR, a company which utilized interactive Virtual Reality to teach electrical engineering to virtual audiences. Our company was granted admission to the HotHouse Startup Accelerator, which is a 15 week summer program to improve start up businesses. I was given the privilege of directing a five-person software team to design and implement a minimum value product in virtual reality. I studied C# and the Unity Game Engine for ten weeks to build a stable program that was run on the Oculus store. I had the honor of working with an amazing team of fellow Cal Poly students to improve our company and present a product pitch at the annual HotHouse Demo Day.

The software start-up, Hifinite, strives to create a digital health platform that can remotely monitor and engage patients. There I worked directly with both international and domestic teams of software engineers to streamline and enhance source code. My team and I were responsible with communicating faults in the company product to their respective developers. Later in the summer, I was encouraged to lead a team to redesign the products calendar tool. At the end of my internship, I was charged with the taks to write and record the current product walk-though to potential investors.

Developed ability to work under pressure during packed rush-hours and time-sensitive tasks. Chipped away at personal issues (social anxiety, speech impediment, etc) and developed resiliency in response to mechanical failures and complications with customers.

A non-profit focused on improving the lives of those residing in impoverished areas, both domestic and international. Aid initially consisted of collecting and fitting used eye glasses, but broadened to canned food and books by 2016. My main duty was to lead volunteers in fundraisers, organize staff meetings, and provide and maintain outreach to external organizations.
