Planning and construction of Mobilink Optical Fiber Backbone Network in Central region. Major responsibilities were as follows:• Managed multiple optical fiber cable deployment projects that include Planning, Surveying, BOQ/Cost estimates preparation, Cable laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of OFC links.• Responsible for providing engineering support to contractors throughout the whole project and ensure that laying standards & optical specifications are accurately followed.• Successfully executed & supervised Mobilink Long Haul Optical fiber deployment Project in Southern Punjab Region of more than 900 KM in Ring topology.• Prepared technical recommendations, guidelines, and progress reports for issues related to design and laying of optical fiber networks.• Identified and assessed the potential problems/risks for the whole project life-cycle and worked on risks mitigation strategies to ensure project deliverable and targets are achieved without or minimalrisk exposure.• Interaction with contractors, subcontractors on daily basis, assisting in getting approvals, deployment of inventory and ROW acquisition for timely completion of the projects.• Preparation of guidelines documents and defining processes for OSP & ISP implementation according to standards.• Attended & conducted weekly project status meeting with contractors; update project milestoneand other stakeholders.• Testing of optical fiber links after terminations and jointing for different measurement protocols byOTDR (EXFO & JDSU) and Power & Source meter equipment.• Ensured that all projects are managed and executed according to Project Implementation Plan, Cost budgets, Delivery targets and Quality standards.• Maintained Invoice track record of each vendor on all projects performed.• Verification of invoices as per actual work done.

•Served as OSP Engineer in optical fiber connectivity project for Wateen Telecom in Lahore, Pakistan and implemented successful deployment of fiber rings (90 KM). This included planning and surveying, civil works, cable laying, splicing, testing & commissioning and acceptance testing to the client.•Prepared Project Cost estimates for labor & materials according to drawing plan.•Prepared documentation like Bills of Quantity (BOQ), As-Built drawings and updating of Wateen’s Network Key maps and Monthly & Quarterly Accomplishment Report for Management Review.
