Responsible for pre-sales, delivery, managed services and support of Comptel’s complete suite of OSS, BSS (Fulfillment, Charging, Policy Control, Provisioning, Activation, Order and Inventory Management), and Business Intelligence products and solutions in the region, dealing with numerous tier-1 mobile and fixed operators, spread across twenty countries in the Middle East and Africa.Led the OSS/BSS transformation project at Mobily – included the deployment of the entire suite followed by operations. Started the transformation project at STC for both fixed and mobile. Ensured 100% uptime for both Mobiliy and STC during the critical Hajj season.Fixed/Mobile OSS/BSS delivery and operations for Oreedoo/Q-tel in Qatar.Responsible for company’s revenue and EBIT in the region.Part of company identified key talent and selected for Long Term Incentive.

Annual revenue of $150m.Managed to grow the Afghanistan market share of Nokia Siemens Networks in BSS, Radio and Core from bare minimum to being a significant player.Seamlessly managed the integration of Motorola into the country organization.Regional level recognition for sales performance and consistent recognition as the company’s toptalent for the last four years and a participant of the LTI Award (Long Term Incentive)Led NSN to become the telecom supplier with the largest installed base in Pakistan across alltechnology domains. Responsible for contributing and implementing the strategy for the product/service business lines with final planning and execution responsibility for the cluster (Pakistan and Afghanistan), providing a framework and support for success of organization. Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction for in-country service lines and accountable for country/cluster services revenue and gross margin.Successful integration of the two services organizations (Nokia Net and Siemens COM) while increasing organizations delivery capability at the same time. The combined organization had 1,400 delivery professionals.Managed a GSM network delivery of 2000 sites in one calendar year – the fastest execution ever by any telecom vendor in the country.Provided end to end managed services (radio and core) to one of the largest cellular operators in Pakistan.Recognized at the region level for performance by winning the Execution Excellence award for 2007.

Started off by building a small boutique operation of six consultants/developers, leading on the set up of a unique organization providing on-shore and off-shore services across the data warehousing spectrum, including business intelligence, logical modelling, project management, application development and managed services. Led the organization to achieve CMM level 5 certification, the first organization in the country to do so. The concept of the Global Consulting Centers was later replicated in the company and now there are a number of centers spread all over the globe. The Paksitan one remains unique for being the one that created the paradigm.
