Saad is the founder of Bitsym, an end to end intelligent systems solutions company. He is the first Pakistani to make it to GEW50 list, an elite group of most promising start-ups maintained by Global Entrepreneurship Week, Kauffman Foundation. Bitsym is national winner for UNIDO Cleantech OPEN'15, MITEF Finalist 2015 (R&D), UNIDO Industrial Challenge award winner 2018 and an emerging intelligent devices and systems enterprise with an electronics manufacturing industrial facility operating at Hattar Special Economic Zone under banner of Bitsym Devices whereas R&D being undertaken at Bitsym Labs, Bitsym Tech Park Islamabad with top talent.Saad Qaisar (Senior Member, IEEE) is the lead researcher and founder of CoNNekT lab, research laboratory of communications, networks and multimedia at National University of Sciences and Technology. A graduate of Michigan State University, USA under guidance of Professor Hayder Radha (Fellow, IEEE), Saad has a vast experience in design and deployment of wireless networks, cyber physical systems, integrated system design, working with national / international funding agencies. With over 100 publications, his works have appeared in highly cited selective forums such as IEEE Spectrum, IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions, IEEE Systems Journal & Wisden Cricket Magazine with over 160 combined impact factor and more than 3500 citations of his work by renowned publications. He has been recognized as among top 2% scientists by impact world-wide by PLOS Biology via 100,000 top scientist compilation by Stanford researchers , best researcher twice at National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan for his significant contributions to research. He is a successful mentor with over 40 of his direct mentee having completed Ph.D. studies with full funding, with 5 Ph.D. dissertations completed under his direct supervision. He is an associate editor of IEEE Access.Saad is an active global citizen with a vision to work across boundaries, cultures and ethnicity. He has been an active contributor to LATTICE, an initiative to bring a global perspective to Michigan's K-12 schools, founder of Engineering World Health-Pakistan chapter, an initiative to extend biomedical engineering services in developing world hospitals.Saad has an active consulting portfolio with United Nations Food and Agriculture Office, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, World Health Organization, US Department of Agriculture, German GIZ, PAC Kamra, Integration Energy Germany, Alternate Energy Development Board few among his consulting portfolio.
