World Music Development was established in August of 2012 and received its 501-c-3 nonprofit status in May of 2018. We are operated by a volunteer member board of directors with a vision to create global peace through music. To continuously strive towards this vision, our mission is to improve and enhance communities with music, through worldwide artist partnerships, music programs, and nonprofit support.We financially or materially support select nonprofit organizations whose missions focus on education, nutrition, housing, healthcare, and economic development. Some of the organizations that we have supported include Schools for the Children of the World, Hope for Children of Africa, Building Hope, Summit Musicians Relief Fund, Summit Habitat for Humanity, Friends of the Fairplay Library, and South Park Food Bank.In a 2012/13 collaboration and partnerships with Schools for the Children of the World and Hope for Children of Africa, we were able to assist in raising funds to complete the building of the The Gbarnga Community Learning Center in Bong County, Liberia. In October of 2012 we supported Friends of the Fairplay Library by producing a small concert with portion of the proceeds going to FFL.More recent work includes a collaboration and partnership with Summit Musicians Relief Fund. On Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 SMRF produced a Benefit Concert to raise funds. World Music Development assisted by providing free entertainment and music production at this event through our Play for a Cause program. In June of 2018 we established the WMD TRIBE; a collaboration with select artists/musicians/bands to assist in our fundraising efforts through concerts and events.Not only we work to improve lives at a local level, but our efforts have allowed us to make a difference globally as well. Alma is the highest incorporated town in North America at 10,578 feet. Founded in 1873, the town boasts an estimated population of 275 (2000 census: 179), with an estimated 1,000 residents in nearby subdivisions. Mix with the locals at one of a couple of its restaurants/bars, or the health food store/coffee shop, explore intriguing shops, and mail off the treasures you bought at the post office, and inquire about life above it all at one of the real estate offices.There are five 14ers that rise above the town: Sherman (14,007), Mt.Bross (14,172 feet), Mt. Lincoln (14,286 feet), Mt. Democrat (14,148 feet), and Mt. Cameron (14,238 feet). There are many 12 and 13ers as well! Many old mining claims crisscross the high mountains, with several that are still operational. In the height of their heyday, the mines produced over $1,500,000 in minerals annually. Some of their colorful names include the Orphan Boy Mine, Dolly Varden Mine, Sweet Home Mine, Little Daisy Mine, and London Mine.

The South Park, Parks and Recreation District aims to enrich the lives of as many members as possible, in our community, by providing the biggest diversification of recreational and social opportunities that our resources and imagination will allow. We may be small, but we aim to grow in quantity and quality.The South Park Recreation Center is owned and operated by the South Park Parks and Recreation District (a Colorado Special District). It is staffed by a full-time Executive Director and a full-time Assistant Director who oversee the daily operations of the district and manage the part-time staff: head lifeguard, instructors, lifeguards and front desk staff. Our Board of Directors is responsible for setting policy for the overall operations of the rec center and oversee the operations of the district through the Executive Director. The 2 Mile High Inc, is an I.R.S. Sec. 501(c)(3) organization, and is responsible for fundraising and grant writing for the district.

Responsible for managing day to day operations, facility scheduling, building maintenance and security, usage metrics, and technology integration within BCA’s portfolio of venues and programs. Oversee the operations of ticket office, and implemented new technologies and procedure to improve guest experience. Responsible for providing leadership in the areas of operations and facilities management, as well as the strategic analysis and planning for ongoing operations and capital improvements. Manage and responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of, volunteers, interns, House Manager, Events Production Manager, cleaning contractor, security contractor, and concessionaire. Collaborate with various industry and community organizations, including resident arts organizations, special event partners, commercial promoters, and other facility users. Responsible for performing artist contract negotiations, contract compliance, facility administration, and providing general management support. Work closely and effectively with the other Directors of BCA to collect production related expenses for invoicing, booking estimates, and contract negotiations; coordinate facility rental and special events with programming at the Arts District Campus; provide IT support for the Arts District Campus and BCA ticketing system; create, implement and provide documents of facilities safety procedures for auditing and insurance purposes; generate monthly Facility Utilization Reports. Additionally, responsible for the overall planning, administration, maintenance and integrity of the organization’s network, communication, and database and e-commerce systems, while also managing technical support functions for all BCA digital platforms.

Managed all cultural arts facilities for the Town of Breckenridge including the Riverwalk Center, Breckenridge Arts District, Breckenridge Theater, and Speakeasy Theater. Oversaw the day to day operations of the Riverwalk Center Ticket Office including IT support for existing systems. Oversaw and improved daily operations of the cultural arts division of the Town of Breckenridge including cleaning, security, and IT. Managed the production of cultural arts events at the Riverwalk Center and the Arts District Campus including the production of the Arts District Preview in September of 2014. My responsibilities included hiring and negotiating talent, staging, sound and light production, hospitality, transportation, and lodging among other things.

Responsible for hiring and coordinating the stage, sound, and light crew, multiple stage scheduling/managing, and all around go to person for situations that arose during the festival. Served on the Board of Directors of the festival which included bi-weekly meeting for organizing and marketing the event.
