The Human Genome Sequencing Center (HGSC) - Pre-Graduate Education Training (PGET) post- baccalaureate program at Baylor College of Medicine supports post-baccalaureates by providing intensive genetics and genomics research training and professional development to prepare for entry into higher degree programs. I will be enrolling in upper level courses to complement my research training which include Molecular/Cellular Biology, Research Methods, and a Responsible Conduct of Research course.The PGET program is an Initiative to Maximize Research Education in Genomics: Diversity Action Plan (DAP) funded by NIH's National Human Genome Research Institute.
