I am a co-founder of Dignity in Difference, a youth-led initiative that envisions a world where there is a dignified exchange of ideas and opinions while building inclusive identities and global citizenship. Our flagship project was the Research Fellowship on Creating Safe Digital Space, which aims to address the lack of youth-centric knowledge and leadership on countering hate speech in South Asia. With over 5 years of experience in human rights research and advocacy, I have a genuine enthusiasm to drive social change through the empowerment of women and minorities.I was also a fellow at ALLY, a regional capacity development programme that is part of a 30-month project funded by the EU and implemented by a consortium of partners. As a fellow, I contribute to transforming the conflicts and factors of violence that lead to violent extremism in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. My field of expertise is transitional justice, human rights, and the rule of law, which I have studied at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and the Kotelawala Defence University. My mission is to advance gender justice and peacebuilding through evidence-based and participatory approaches.
