Sab (they/them) is passionate about transformational change – in people, organizations and society. Sab has over 20 years of experience in community-based project organizing and group facilitation, with a strong background in work with Indigenous peoples in Canada. Practice is grounded in solid theoretical base, with an MA in Human Systems (Applied Social Sciences), and undergrad in Communications and Sociology. She received academic awards in both her BA and MA. They have worked on social, cultural and ecological issues in diverse settings. Sab currently works PT on contract for PeerNetBC, and PT as a freelance consultant, helping people, organizations and communities with change projects, i.e. to review or develop strategic plans, improve collaboration skills, harness the strengths in their diversity, conduct participatory planning and to develop excellent communication internally and with stakeholders.
