Worked as a sales consultant for Origin Energy Australia, which was externally contracted by Salmat. After four days of training my responsibility was to go to up to 100 houses a day allocated in Newcastle area, by my team leader, and convince customers who were currently with other energy providers to shift to Origin Energy by offering them special discounts, Origin Energy was offering at that moment. Worked on a commission based reward system that required a certain amount of successful sales on a weekly basis and managed to achieve the target every week.

Worked as Research Assistant in the Department of Economics of Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan. The job was on the marketing research study entitled “Consumer Preferences for Sales, Service Operations and Product Quality of Toyota 3-S Dealerships in Pakistan.” This project was commissioned by Toyota Indus Motor Company, Karachi, Pakistan who is the makers of Toyota cars in Pakistan. This research entails periodic evaluation of sales and service operations and product quality of Toyota cars in Pakistan on the basis of field survey of more than 4000 new car buyers. The analysis report consists of consumer satisfaction index for sales, parts and services, and product quality by regions and dealerships. My responsibility included obtaining primary data from the field, tabulation of the data, making graphs and preparing background notes for this research project.

The project was a study on “Program Evaluation of Agribusiness Support Fund: Estimating the Effects of Treatment on Farmer Groups, Agribusinesses and BDS Market in Pakistan.” Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan, conducted this project. My assigned task in this assignment pertained to converting all the data collected in the form of surveys from different farmers, from a hard copy to a soft copy in Microsoft Excel.
