Profile bio

About Saba Ali

My career as a journalist, web producer, and multimedia projects manager has shaped the way I see storytelling as an experience. I am at my best when working collaboratively to create narratives that are visually engaging, instinctive, informative and human centered. My writing background, organizational skills, and leadership abilities allow me to feel at home when playing outside the sandbox, experimenting with different techniques and pushing others to think creatively. My goal is to exceed expectations and challenge perceptions of what is possible. My favorite phrase is “We’ve never done this before.” It was especially gratifying to be part of the interactive team that was a 2014 Pulitzer Prize finalist for public service, with our multimedia package on police misconduct cited by the judges "for its use of in-depth reporting and digital tools." http://www.pulitzer.org/finalists/newsday-0
