Following are my key responsibilities:· Quality assurance of Audit working papers and Audit Reports.· Review working paper files of audit to ensure adequate audit procedure have been followed and conclusion are made on sufficient and appropriate audit evidence.· Research on new audit procedures and re-engineer the audit process where necessary to assure the quality standards.· Developing, maintaining the training plan for the audit staff ensuring that the staff is trained accordingly.  Developing and maintaining a database containing all audit issues raised, the agreed action to eliminate the weakness and the timeline to finalize such remediation.· Maintaining MIS for time-based status of issues highlighted during audits.· Closely following with the auditee management for corrective actions to rectify the issues highlighted.· Monitoring the progress for implementing recommendations made by external or internal auditors.· Maintaining and updating the database of audit observations on risk-based methodology.· Implementing follow-ups of post audit action plans.· Overseeing all aspects of financial and accounting role. Managing and controlling daily operations relating to finance. Preparations of cash flows.· Managing the bank relationship with third parties. Review of financial statements and presenting to the management team.

I am mainly responsible for designing and implementing the Quality Assurance Framework within the Internal Audit department. My responsibilities included: ➢ Conduct an internal quality assessment of ongoing monitoring of the performance of the Internal Audit Team ➢ Perform QA of control testing being performed by IA Units ➢ Escalating Significant Issues at appropriate levels ➢ Monitoring of Internal Audit Plan ➢ Conduct QA of HBL Subsidiaries ➢ Conduct periodic self-assessment of Internal Audit projects – Local and International ➢ Conduct training for reinforcement of QA standards to be followed ➢ Conduct skill gap analysis of Internal Audit Team members ➢ Responsible for mentoring and training audit staff members ➢ Responsible to review and update internal audit charter, policies, procedures, working papers, training and points arising from Audit Committee minutes ➢ Mapping of Manual and Policy with SBP Regulations, IIA Standards and Regulations issued by Central Bank of UAE, Bahrain and Qatar ➢ Design KPIs for the department ➢ Review of financial statements. My responsibilities included:➢ Prior to this designation, I was working as AM II in the Internal Audit Department of the Bank where I lead multiple Internal Audit engagements involving Centralized Functions, Branches, and remote locations.
