Enabling her to work as a critical friend to institutions such as the Crown Prosecution Service and the Metropolitan Police Service, particularly focusing on issues like Hate Crime, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), and the needs of the LGBT+ Black/Brown communities.Saba's work with the Metropolitan Police Service spans various platforms, such as the Trans and Non-Binary Forum, Domestic Abuse Victim Voices Forum, and Community Centred Learning Stakeholder, where she plays a pivotal role in pushing for institutional change and fostering trust within marginalized groups. She is the LGBT+ Subcategory Lead for the Community Reference Group for the Police Race Action Plan. Her commitment extends beyond law enforcement, as she serves as a trustee for Building Bridges for Peace, working toward conflict transformation, and as a Community Ambassador for The Vavengers, fighting to end female genital mutilation (FGM) and other forms of VAWG.Her leadership in sexual and reproductive health is evident in her involvement with Sutton Council’s Sexual and Reproductive Health Strategy Planning.
