Term Instructor at the Department of Civil Engineering Technology

- Integral part of the delivery of the $2B Airport Development Program.- Project lead for the $22M 'Corridor B-C Expansion' project, where responsibilities include managing the engineering and construction contractors involved in the Terminal Connectivity Program.- Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing construction specs and shop drawings, carrying out construction inspection site walks, progress evaluations, cash flow forecasts, risk management, commissioning overview, change order management and general reporting.- Successfully interfaced with construction managers, stakeholders, tenants, trades and project team. - Project Coordinator on a one-of-a-kind project introducing a new vehicle system at the Calgary International Airport

YYC Burger Week was an annual grassroots Calgary-wide festival where several local restaurants competed in a friendly battle for burger supremacy, and donated 10% of ALL burger sales towards participating local charities. During the first year, YYC Burger Week raised just over $6300 for local charities. On our second year, we saw a 220% increase in growth, resulting in over $20000 being brought in for deserving local charities. I oversaw the entire launch strategy, including operations, partnerships, and media appearances.
