AMWA helped settled hundreds of families brought legally into the US by these organizations• Initiated and managed innovative programs for women such as New Beginnings Program that focused on learning new skills for a better future especially for refugee women from Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, and Syria.
