Connecting a new department, following an internal restructure, I lead a diverse department and portfolio including City Compliance, Community Safety and School Crossings, Ageing and Sector Support and Aboriginal Engagement, Access and Inclusion. Big ticket goals for 2023/24: - Creation of Casey's first Reconciliation Action Plan to embed and take meaningful action of reconciliation. - Development of Casey's LGBTIQA+ plan to create safety and inclusion for LGBTIQA+ community and staff.- Implementation of Living and Ageing Well Plan to build capacity of thin markets services and ensure community can age well in place. - School Crossings optimisation project (180 crossings in Casey) to ensure kids are getting to school safely and the service continues to be sustainable. - Local Law amendment to ensure Local law remain current and in context with Casey's growing community.

Working closely with numerous contract partners across Aquatics, Stadiums and Skate to improve the health and well being of Casey residents by ensuring access to high quality leisure facility infrastructure and quality opportunities for physical activity and social connectedness. At the Australian Open each January, assisted professional tennis players with practice bookings and logistics.

An experience of a lifetime as I supervised summer camp to a range of campers including special needs and behaviourally impaired. Led outdoor recreation programs such as high ropes, rock climbing, camp cooking, water skiing, hiking.

Facilitated school camp programming including snorkeling on the Mornington Peninsula, hiking, mountain bike riding and canoeing.
