This mission consisted in developing a decision support system for the Supply Chain Management department of DSC – Saint-Gobain Group, to improve its procurement and stock management processes.This Decision Support System centralized information issued from the various production databases of the company (AS400, SQL, excel, text and MS access files,), and generated powerful and customized dashboards to easily monitor various metrics (such as sales, turnover, etc).The mission's goal was enabling DSC’s decision-makers to seamlessly evaluate the performance of the various stakeholders: both external stakeholders (such as DSC’s suppliers and manufacturers) by comparing their actual performances to their contractual commitments and calculating the amount of reparations due in case of breach, as well as internal stakeholders (such as DSC’s own warehouses, carriers and showrooms) to ensure continuous deliveries at minimal cost.Working very closely with Saint-Gobain DSC's Upstream Supply Chain Management team, I was able to build this solution, deploy it, troubleshoot the ETL processes and document these steps in just over six months.
