  • Dfm - Danish National Metrology Institute
    Senior Scientist
Dfm - Danish National Metrology Institute May 2022 - Present
    Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark
Currently, I am serving as a Senior Scientist at the Quantum Unit, where my work focuses on the development of advanced quantum materials and metrology. At DFM, I have established and responsible for the Quantum Materials Lab, which is a part of the NATO DIANA Quantum Test Center. My work extends to leading various projects (EU/Danish Govt. funded projects, etc.), actively engaging in the funding applications, and supervising/co-supervising students in collaboration with universities, with a particular focus on advancing Danish quantum technology.
  • Dfm - Danish National Metrology Institute
    Scientist
Dfm - Danish National Metrology Institute Oct 2021 - May 2022
    Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark
In 2021, I joined the Danish National Metrology Institute as a Scientist, where my research primarily focused on the development of high-precision metrology for advanced nano and quantum materials. I participated in EU-funded projects and projects funded by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, specifically focusing on Quantum Materials and Green Nanotech. These projects involved collaboration with both industrial associations for applied technologies and academic institutions for fundamental research. Additionally, I contributed to the certification of nanomaterial testing (including AFM, KPFM, etc.) for industrial samples, reviewed certificates of accreditation, and supervised academic theses. Furthermore, I initiated the establishment of a new Quantum Materials lab at DFM.
  • Microsoft
    Postdoctoral Researcher
    Microsoft Dec 2020 - Sep 2021
    Copenhagen, Denmark
During Postdoc I was working at Microsoft Quantum Materials lab (MQML) and Niels bohr Institute (NBI). In this position, I was doing research on synthesis and characterization of high-quality quantum materials for topological superconductivity. My work extended to the fabrication of stencil masks for in situ resist-less lithography. Besides, I was involved in the initial phase installation and calibration of new Si-Ge MBE system at MQML while developing a manual for high-mobility 2DHG growth, optimization of atomic-Hydrogen cleaning in the new system. The lab work was conducted in the state-of-the-art facilities at Microsoft Development Center, DTU-Danchip, Lyngby and NBI-cleanroom.
  • Alixlabs
    Co-Founder
    Alixlabs Aug 2019 - Jun 2021
    Lund, Skane County, Sweden
  • Niels Bohr Institute, University Of Copenhagen
    Phd Researcher
Niels Bohr Institute, University Of Copenhagen Oct 2017 - Nov 2020
    Copenhagen, Denmark
During PhD, I worked as Marie Curie fellow at Niels Bohr Institute and Microsoft Quantum Materials Lab. My research focus was on developing new materials and fabricating devices for quantum technology. From the synthesis of materials with Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) to characterize and device fabrication (using different tools) for exploring new materials properties, my project goal was to demonstrate a materials platform for topological Qubit.
  • Niels Bohr Institute, University Of Copenhagen
    Teaching Assistant And Supervision
Niels Bohr Institute, University Of Copenhagen Mar 2018 - Jun 2020
    Copenhagen, Denmark
I worked as a teaching assistant in the "Experimental Physics" course (for consecutive three years) with Prof. Morten Bo Madsen and Prof. Jorg Helge Muller. Besides, I co-supervised one master's thesis, one undergraduate thesis, and two independent research projects during my work at Niels Bohr Institute.
  • Epfl (École Polytechnique Fédérale De Lausanne)
    Visiting Researcher
Epfl (École Polytechnique Fédérale De Lausanne) Oct 2019 - Dec 2019
    Lausanne Area, Switzerland
As a part of academic secondment, I joined as a visiting researcher at the Laboratory of Semiconductor Materials (LMSC), EPFL. During my work period, I was involved in the fabrication and measurement of semiconducting nanocrosses based photo-detector devices. These nanocrosses are grown from the advanced pre-fab substrate at NBI and later fabricated at CMi cleanroom at EPFL and NBI cleanroom at Copenhagen.
  • Aalto University
    Researcher And Teaching Assistant
    Aalto University Jun 2016 - Sep 2017
    Espoo, Finland
During this period I worked at Nanomaterials Lab, Aalto University. My research was focused on hybridization of CNT and graphene, which has the potential to open a new platform for conductive flexible device applications. In this project, we developed a scalable single-step method for synthesizing hybrid CNT/graphene thin film with high transparency and significantly improved conductivity. Besides, I worked as a teaching assistant in a special physics course titled "Gas-Phase Synthesis of Carbon Nanotubes for Thin Film Applications" with Prof. Esko I. Kauppinen.
