I initiated IT-project in order to develop a software system for hotels. The goal of buying a hotel business was to learn the working process, to become part of a target group, so that the product would be interesting for hoteliers.The application enables hotel owners and hotel managers to communicate with each other, to verify their hotel through online booking systems. Information on a hotel, availability of rooms and roomrates may be upgraded from the Channel Manager.The application also deploys an analytics system, which enables to analyse market rates. Furthermore, given the rating, location, services provided, rates, room availability in other hotels and other parameters, the application provides the user with recommendations on pricing. The program also took into account seasonality, holidays and other events in the course of the year, during which it is common to increase or reduce rates.Owning the hotel has proved to be a good option for passive income.As a developer my duties were the following:1. Collecting requirements.2. Conducting analytics, surveys and focus groups with the users (other hotel owners).3.
