During this project I worked on identification of key indicators for glaucoma. This involved large scale data analysis of more than 10,000 proteins identified on serum samples by microarray chip. The analysis, done in R / Python. involved filtering the proteins above a cutoff and to perform statistical tests. The identified biomarkers were tested using machine learning methods to classify diseased and normal patients .

While working in histopathology my responsibilities included performing gross dissection of surgical specimens as well as microscopy of H&E stained slides. I routinely performed FNACs and punch biopsies of skin lesions. Conducted immunohistochemistry staining workshops for pathology interns.During my rotation in molecular pathology I performed qPCR , ELISA , Western blot, electrophoresis and DNA extraction and quantification.Performed Gram staining , AFB staining and culture & sensitivity testing during my microbiology rotation.Documented SOPs and best practices.Apart from that I actively presented cases in monthly Clinicopathological meetings.
