I am a Doctoral candidate at the Centre for Development Studies (CDS) in Thiruvananthapuram, affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, India, since 2021. I was a Visiting Researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW) in Germany during January-March 2024. Additionally, I serve as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Indian Migrant Studies (CIMS) in Kerala, India since 2020. I hold an M.Phil. in Applied Economics from the Centre for Development Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.My research primarily focuses on the intersection of international economics and economic development. I specialize in studying international migration and trade and their connection with policy-relevant research issues. I employ applied econometrics techniques, including gravity models and tools of impact evaluation, to analyze and address these complex economic phenomena.
