In my previous role as a member of the architectural team, I was responsible for creating building designs and drafting detailed plans for renovations to ongoing projects. I utilized AutoCAD and REVIT to produce accurate and efficient plans, and had experience converting BIM files to working REVIT files for council submission. In addition to my technical skills, I also had experience preparing presentation materials, including sketches and mock-ups, for the review and approval of architectural designs. In my role, I attended meetings with clients, contractors, and other professionals as needed, and actively participated in site visits to document observations and take accurate measurements. I also assisted with the coordination of projects, communicating with clients, contractors, and other team members under the supervision of a licensed architect or senior team members registered with SACAP. Throughout my time in this role, I learned about the design process, project management, and other aspects of the field.
