John Huber is the founder and portfolio manager at Saber Capital Management. Saber practices a disciplined, methodical approach to value investing based on the principles of Ben Graham, Warren Buffett, Walter Schloss, and Joel Greenblatt. We manage stock portfolios for clients using separately managed accounts. Capital is held by the clients in their own names, providing safety and transparency. Saber was designed so John Huber could manage outside client capital alongside his own. He invests the majority of his own and his family's money alongside his clients. At Saber, we "eat our own cooking" and we implement an disciplined investment approach that hopes to achieve both the safety of principal and superior long term investment results.

At GBH, my partners and I managed numerous small partnerships that specialized in buying and adding value to undervalued real estate. We owned small residential and multifamily housing properties. We focused on buying undervalued residential property or high vacancy multifamily buildings that needed improvement, and we specialized in leasing up properties, adding value, and improving net operating income. Our business took advantage of the extremely high amount of foreclosures in single family and small multifamily housing markets that existed between 2007-2012.
