Happily engineering software with the amazing people at Ruby Receptionist with a focus on their mobile products. I wrote both the native iOS and Android applications from scratch, then continued to add features, including a complementary Apple Watch app.

We worked on a project for SpaceX, whose details I cannot go into. Yes, we saw rocketships being manufactured. Yes, it was amazing. Besides SpaceX, we mainly work on iOS applications, though we also engineer backend systems in Python. We pride ourselves in being able to tackle any engineering problem presented to us, whether it is highly customized OpenCV programming, building out backend APIs, or working on an Android app.

I was lead (and sometime sole) developer on iPhone/iPad apps such as Kickball and Boombox Pro, as well as a Chalkbot iPad app and a moderation tool for a Procter & Gamble social installation for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

I developed the CareerBuilder iPhone app that was launched in the initial App Store launch. I also developed back end technology solutions.

Ecommerce Technical Lead

Worked on ecommerce storefront, registration systems, back-end ecommerce API, content management systems.

ConsumerForce.com was a .com startup in which I was the initial developer. Their product was a Consumer Services comparison/ecommerce Web site. The site used the LAMP open source stack. I developed the site from concept to live product, including requirements gathering, application design, and data modeling.

Redeveloped large company-wide Sales Order Entry Web in a UNIX environment. By using my knowledge of PL/SQL, I was able to help drastically reduce the size of the app while increasing its reliability and usability.
