Working with and supporting some of Australia's best-known organisations, Macquarie Telecom is a full service hosting provider offering managed dedicated servers, managed co-location, and managed private and public clouds for mid-size businesses and corporate IT departments. http://www.macquarietelecom.comRESPONSIBILITIES• IT Application Support (Level1)• Design, develop test cases and testing on multiple projects of varying size• Assist with test process and quality improvements across development• Provide input into estimations for story planning• Provide input into refining and managing a strong test automation framework• Work within an Agile Development Team with a focus on delivering valuable software for the customer• Provide input into process improvements across the delivery team and the department• Reviewing user requirements documents to ensure the requirements are testable.• Closely work with Developer and Business Analyst• Evaluating and testing new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements.• Write and revise test cases and verifying quality standards and test procedures for program design and evaluation of product to attain quality of software economically and efficiently.• Experience working within a collaborative agile environment• Experience with good practices of working with Altassian JIRA • Experience of functional testing modern Ajax Web Applications using Selenium or similar acceptance testing frameworks • Ability to write and run basic SQL queries• Experience writing clear acceptance criteria in user stories from customer conversations• The ability to give feedback, and take part in design discussions to determine test approach and effort
