Manages the overall safety program during the commissioning and startup of the Beneficiation and Crusher/ Primary Crusher & Conveyor, Phosphoric Acid Plant, Sulphuric Acid Plan(SAP) and Power Plant,Downstream Plants DCP/MCP/PPA/STPP Purified Phosphoric Acid (PPA), Sodium Tri-poly-phosphate (STPP)Mono-Calcium Phosphate & Di- Calcium Phosphate (MCP/DCP) & Ammonia Plant.Ensures that appropriate standards and procedures are in place to manage the special hazards of commissioning. In conjunction with the Operations and Commissioning Teams in each business ensures that standards are well deployed, compliance is managed, incidents are investigated and corrective actions are implemented. This includes adjustment of the standards if required.

In conjunction with the operations teams in each business ensures that standards are well deployed, compliance is managed, incidents are investigated and corrective actions are implemented. This includes adjustment of the standards if required.

Ensures that appropriate standards and procedures are in place to manage the special hazards of commissioning. In conjunction with the Operations and Commissioning Teams in each business ensures that standards are well deployed, compliance is managed, incidents are investigated and corrective actions are implemented. This includes adjustment of the standards if required..• Provides support to line personnel to assist their management of their employees safety.• Provides coaching on safety philosophy, safety standards and safety behaviour to line managers.• Facilitates the formal Management review of safety performance and planning for improvement• Ensures the key ingredients of a successful safety management program are in place across all Commissioning Teams

Implement the project HSE Plan/overall HSE program. - Support the HSE needs of the project including transportation plan. - Review and approve Subcontractor HSE plans to confirm compliance with the requirements of Contractors HSE plan documents; and - Interface with company, ADCO and PMC as necessary to facilitate contractor HSE programs ( e.g., permit to work) - Audit the safety programs of subcontractors. - Coordinate and monitor HSE activities. - Injury/Illness notification, investigation and reporting. - Reporting and Investigating near miss incidents. - Environmental incident prevention, investigation and response.- Maintain and update the HSE program as may be required throughout the project. - Coordination of personnel training and safety activities. - Participate as a member of the Joint Project Health and Safety Committee in all meetings, inspections and resolution activities.- Inspect the site for safety practices and champion the implementation of safety improvements. - Coordinate site response actions during plant emergencies. - Maintenance of site training records. - Preparation of all site generated safety reports required by the project and law.
