- Coordinate and manage various research studies pertaining to premature development- Develop the consent form and protocol for an emerging study on access to therapy resources (speech, physical, and occupational) for families with babies that were born prematurely (Sites involved in this study include: UofC, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, and Lurie's) - Coordinate focus groups with parents of these infants, in order to identify which services were most beneficial- Re-enroll and obtain informed consent of participants in the 17-18 age cohort of the “Extremely Low Gestational Age Newborns - Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes” (ELGAN-ECHO) nationwide longitudinal study - Coordinate numerous procedures (e.g., biospecimen collection, motor and cognitive assessments, surveys) on child and parent(s)/guardian(s)- Study how premature birth affects long term physical and neurocognitive development at birth, 2, 5, 10, 15, and currently 17-18 years of age- Interview parents of infants born prematurely on a massage intervention introduced in the Comer NICU for breathing and feeding benefits - Interview and transcribe young adults diagnosed with cerebral palsy on life outcomes and resources
