Having spent the best part of a decade in my early career in the automotive industry, in a variety of marketing and event roles for consumer, trade and media at BMW Group, I wanted a new challenge. So in 2013, as a co-founder of CREAT3D, leading provider of Additive Manufacturing equipment in the UK, I took on the role of Marketing and Events for the company. Having seen 3D printing for the first time some 10 years ago, I was fascinated by what the technology is capable of producing, and today my role is in sharing that passion. We started, and continue to run CREAT3D with the aim of helping UK manufacturing become the best in the world through the integration of AM. I love, and am responsible for, all areas of marketing, comms, brand and events, in particular working closely with our customers and partners to share success stories. I am also a member of Wi3DP (Women in 3D Printing) and want to help young, ambitious women establish successful careers in the world of engineering and in particular Additive Manufacturing. Having been lucky enough to have some amazing mentors throughout my career, my next goal is to give that opportunity to others, and hopefully share some of my learnings.
