I have volunteered at a few events, for example I was the Stage Manager for the Community Hero Awards, and Pride Float Public Relations Assistant.

I have been sent on a few assignments and taken photos of events and individuals attending.

Office Support and Hospitality Committee

Meeting with unemployed individuals and assisting them in discovering new job search techniques, or just refreshing the once already accumulated. Working with these individuals to obtain their employment goals.

Assist unemployed or underemployed individuals with their job search. Keeeping the resource room updated with job search related information, and other service providers. Presenting orientation sessions to new clients on a daily basis.

Referring single parents to the appropriate service, such as our volunteer practitioners that offer massage therapy, Thai massage, personel counselling, reiki and acupuncture. Organizing events such as healing workshops and potlucks.

Followed up on 600 case managed clients in a three months period and assisted them with the transition from one Case Management Service to another. Ensuring clients were aware that a Case Manager was available to meet with them should they require further assistance with reaching their goal.
