The task at hand was to accelerate the onboarding a new, externally hired CEO by driving integrated storytelling in close collaboration with corporate and business functions. To bolster the CEO’s internal and external positioning, I fostered employee touchpoints and engagement via new and existing formats and channels.

As a member of the worldwide marketing communications team for Windows Phone, I built and executed the internal communications strategy, planned town hall meetings and a global sales kick-off event. I prepared CVP communications for PR, global fiscal year kick-offs, and internal business reviews. In addition, I outlined the Windows Phone go-to-market team’s business principles and the strategic objectives of the rewards & recognition program.

While the Windows Phone platform and services were gradually rolled out in select markets worldwide, I was enabling local v-teams by increasing critical market leadership support. This included field communications and fostering dialogue, managing the CVP's country visits, field agendas and speeches for PR, external and internal communications.

The role comprised the following tasks, among others: Running a senior executive staff office with administrative support. Executing effective, recurring, virtual Leadership Team meetings and exchange. Driving internal local annual events. Supporting executive engagement around customers, partners, citizenship, and press. Supporting the development of a high-performance team.
