Als programmamanager ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van subsidierondes binnen het programma Goed Gebruik Geneesmiddelen. Ik heb de leiding over de Grote Trials ronde en de ronde Onderzoek met Bestaande Data.Door het monitoren van lopende projecten en het contact houden met stakeholders, heb ik daarnaast een verbindende rol en ondersteun ik de implementatie van onderzoeksresultaten in de zorgpraktijk.

Projects: -Defining the in vivo consequences of altered binding between cMyBP-C and actin on cardiac function in transgenic mouse models. Funded by a postdoctoral scholarship award of the American Heart association.- In Situ Replacement of cMyBP-C N'-Terminal Domains using the Novel Spy-C Method.I combined in vitro and in vivo experiments to unravel the molecular mechanisms through which the protein cardiac myosin binding protein C (cMyBP-C) regulates timing, speed and force of contraction of the heart. * In vivo assessment of cardiac function by echocardiography and pressure-volume catheterization.* Single cardiomyocyte force measurements.* Protein purification.* SDS-PAGE, western blotting, silvers stain.* Immunocytochemistry and deconvolution microscopy.* Animal handling and colony management.* Setting up new techniques and equipment.* Grant writing and manuscript writing.* Presenting my work at (international) meetings.* Lab management, including: hiring and training new personnel, implementation of (safety) protocols, inventory and ordering.* Moving the lab from CA to AZ.
