Responsibilities Prepare the electrical drawings to meet client specifications Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Perform calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation meeting various standards and specifications. Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards and offer the same for clients inspection at the agreed phases of construction. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. Manage project schedules and budgets. Prepare engineering calculations in connection with field and office assignments. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and standards procedures. Prepare requests for proposals and evaluate technical and commercial bids. Estimate cash flow projections.

Safety watching and escorting others while doing critical emergency jobs Keeping System Dispatchers and others informed of all local information pertinent to the operation of the power system especially at the time of shutdowns or interruption in operation that affect the distribution system for public and industry. Checking indication and tags on control panel against actual station, conditions. Adhere to the station voltage schedule, compliance with prescribed operating limits on lines and equipment (load, power factor, voltage, temperature, etc.) Periodically inspect station, including all components in switchyard, control house, relay houses, and other buildings. Check for conditions constituting hazards to personnel, property, or equipment. Take action to correct abnormal conditions or notify others concerned with the condition
