Global Functional Cost Reporting ($100m). Finance Business Partner to Chief HR Officer and CFO team to help drive functional costs down across the business at the Corporate Head Quarters. Business Partnering – Guiding and supporting Finance and Non-Finance Managers and Executives through the Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting process.HR Transformation / Restructuring Project – Finance Lead (Programme Sponsor and Board) Investment appraisal identifying 11% of annual savings across the HR Function. Supported the Project with iterations on the financial modelling together with financial governance to ensure informed decision making through the life of the Project. The Project also enhanced end-user experience with automation on multiple processes such as onboarding new employees.

At this firm I was in charge of value-add projects across various assets and took charge of the set-up of internal accounting systems. Managed vendors relations, various workstreams, strategy / roadmap planning, and end-to-end service reporting.Key Deliverables:• Operational Cash Flows: Created effective cash flow forecasts for each asset held to monitor Actuals versus Forecasts and integrated this with Xero systems for efficient reporting and adjusting / iterating forecasts. This led to better visibility of asset performance.• Exit Cash Flows: Support with modelling to determine the selling of asset at the prime time for maximum return to shareholders. All aspects to completion were managed with various internal and external stakeholders with timely feedback to shareholders. Managed one asset through its entire lifecycle with net returns of 30%.• Project Management – Enhancing Asset Value: Operational value add for an asset held – the University of Bradford accommodation. Implementation of end-end Finance system resulting in stream-lined reporting processes and have better accountability of financials. Managed and led the process bringing various external stakeholders together to upgrade systems in a timely manner for the next round of student intake.• Xero – Accounting system set-up: Instrumental in bringing the accounting in house with processes and automation. Savings were realised in headcount redeployed elsewhere.
