As a motivated, personable, experienced scientist, I easily communicate with other scientists, medical professionals, and members of the community at large. Throughout my career, I have sought to develop a unique set of skills that can be applied to many different fields. My scientific skills span protein-protein interactions, biophysical biochemistry, microbiology, host-pathogen interactions, molecular biology, cell biology, and tissue regeneration, as well as environmental microbiology and basic rheology. Over the last year, I have expanded my skill set to include clinical trial development and management. My leadership skills have been honed mentoring high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, as well as leading and directing research teams in non-academic settings. Generating, organizing, and implementing business proposals and serving as a liaison with business clients have increased my abilities to maintain and exceed project targets and deadlines.
