Through policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and improving access to data, I help clients better understand the benefits and potential impacts of various clean energy policies. My expertise includes renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate change mitigation, and clean transportation. I analyzed clean energy policies, provided technical assistance to state and local governments, supported renewable energy projects and research in partnership with other countries, and led the development of online tools to make clean energy data more accessible. I managed multi-million dollar projects, coordinating staff from both across the Lab and other organizations. In support of USAID's Enhancing Capacity for Low Emissions Development Strategies, I was an energy expert on multiple missions to countries including Albania, Guatemala and Mexico. I worked with multiple islands in the Pacific and Caribbean to help local governments identify opportunities for increasing deployment of clean energy technologies including leading the policy analysis for the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative and representing DOE as an expert on the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation's Peer Review on Low Carbon Energy Policies for Indonesia.

I supported local governments in their applications for the EECBG grants.

I provided research support for Dr. Henrik Selin and Dr. Kevin Gallagher on their work related to international environmental politics, POPs, MEAs and trade & the environment. My duties included literature searches, summarization, and copy editing.

As an RPP at NREL, I worked on a project compiling and developing best practices for state level renewable energy policy development. The final product, State of the States 2008: Renewable Energy Development and the Role of Policy, can be accessed at http://www.nrel.gov/applying_technologies/pdfs/43021.pdf. I also provided research support for the development of transition reports on the potential role of the US in renewable energy development to be provided to the incoming Administration.
