As a Patient Administrative Coordinator at Team Rehabilitation, I help ensure that patients receive quality care and service, manage the clinic schedule, verify insurance, process payments and escalate phone calls when necessary. I also communicate with insurance representatives, nurse case managers, physicians offices and other staff members to facilitate the delivery of effective and efficient treatment plans.Before joining Team Rehabilitation, I worked as an International Review Board Coordinator at Arcturus Healthcare, where I maintained paperwork and compliance for clinical trials. I also have over a year of experience as a second grade teacher at Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences and two years of experience as a fourth grade teacher, where I developed and implemented engaging instruction for a diverse group of students. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Michigan State University and have completed 18 credits towards a Master's in Teaching and Curriculum.I am passionate about helping people and connecting with them on an individual level. I have strong attention to detail, organization, and interpersonal communication skills that enable me to perform well in various settings and tasks. I am eager to acquire more skills and apply my knowledge and experience to new challenges and opportunities.
