Served as Public Affairs liaison for policy dialogue with civil society and local government to raise issues, share perspectives and reach consenus on common action plans, strategic development, and program implementation funded by federal grants. Oversaw program management of civil society initiatives related to women empowerment, human rights, legal reforms, entrepreneurship, environmental resilience. Implemented technical/regulation compliance of federal grants, formulated vetting and selection procedures related to potential grantees and third party contractors, monitored and evaluated projects for capacity building supported by federal grants annually worth USD 2.5 million. Oversaw the design, solicitation, evaluation, and implementation of the US embassy’s cultural grants program under the US Department of State. Served as Grants Specialist from 2006-2007 in Baghdad, Iraq, responsible for managing a grants portfolio focused on capacity building of local civil society. Oversaw the formulation of the strategic plan to establish The Edward M. Kennedy Center for Public Service and the Arts, a non-profit cultural center and a hub of innovation and social change in Bangladesh. Wrote and oversaw the annual operational and programmatic budget of $1.3 million for The Edward M. Kennedy Center. Designed and implemented the DOS ongoing "English Access Micro-Scholarship Program", enabling underprivileged students to gain access to higher education with a success rate of nearly 80%. Implemented a $850K project to counter extremism in Islamic religious schools through teacher-training programs; trained 2,000 teachers and influenced 300,000 students annually. As the representative in an anti-trafficking coalition, ATSEC, advocated for the introduction of new clauses punishing human traffickers and sexual abusers with maximum life sentences and rigorous imprisonment under the Bangladeshi legal Ordinance that focuses on laws related to violence against women.

Oversaw corporate training program for executives. Responsible for developing and overseeing corporate policy and compliance. Developed and introduced a multifunctional skills development program designed to foster upward mobility of hotel staff to management level. Coordinated with public relations department to support events management related to corporate workshops, seminars, retreats, and weddings.

Developed English language training materials and taught conversational English to medical students from the Bangladesh Medical College under the English language capacity building project supported by WHO.

Taught conversational English and advised JICA personnels on Bangladeshi norms, customs, and culture.

Taught English language to middle school students in Japan’s Public School.
