I completed my undergraduate degree in May, 2021 at the University of Pittsburgh, having pursued a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) and a minor in Italian. While there, I conducted research on vocal systems in the adult population. Upon matriculating, I immediately began pursuing my master's degree in speech-language pathology at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. As a candidate for a master's in speech-language pathology, I have completed various clinical assignments as a graduate student clinician. I have co-directed and assisted with the first SPEAK OUT! and LOUD Crowd treatment intervention for patients with Parkinson's Disease at the Northeastern University Speech Language and Hearing Center. I have implemented well-developed intervention skills and appropriate evaluation tools in various educational settings. I have also cultivated dynamic clinical judgment skills at the acute care ICU level while working at Tufts Medical Center for a clinical assignment. My background as a graduate student clinician has been diversified and extended across both medical and educational clinical settings.I am consistently seeking novel opportunities and experiences to expand both my knowledge and network in the clinical field. Upon graduation, I will be pursuing a clinical fellowship (CCCs)and subsequently, licensure. I aspire to deepen my understanding in all aspects of this field, but primarily areas regarding dysphagia, aphasia, stroke, TBI, and tracheostomy care.
